Saturday, 1st April: DEPART YOUR HOMETOWN
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.
Sunday, 2nd April: DUBLIN ARRIVAL
Land at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities before meeting your CIE Tours driver/guide for either a 9 am or 12 pm pick up. Transfer to your nearby hotel, check in and settle into your room. In the afternoon, take an orientation drive around Dublin city center. See the main thoroughfares of O’Connell Street, Nassau Street and some lovely public parks as you pass by many historical sites. Visit Teeling Distillery to learn about finely aged whiskey and sample the finish product. If time permits, you can enjoy a cocktail or two at the Bang Bang Bar or grab some locally sourced food at the Phoenix Café. Then enjoy a superb welcome get-together drink in the Temple Bar area.

Monday, 3rd April: VINTAGE TEA TOUR
This morning, climb aboard a vintage double-decker bus and have a cup of afternoon tea while taking in the sights of the city. Then you will have some time to sightsee and shop. In the early evening, head to Airfield Estate for a tour of the house and gardens. After learning about 20 acre farm, it is time to roll up your sleeves! As you prepare new dishes, compete against your fellow travelers in a fun, inspiring cook-off while preparing dinner for the group.

Tuesday, 4th April: GLENDALOUGH
Leaving Dublin, travel into County Wicklow and visit the 6th century monastic ruins of Glendalough. The visitor centre explains how St. Kevin founded this settlement at a time when Christianity was burgeoning throughout Ireland. Next, you’ll have a special seasonal food experience at the Ballycotton Farm. End the day at your nearby hotel, where dinner will be freshly prepared with local produce.

Wednesday, 5th April: BLARNEY CASTLE
Today, drive to Blarney, where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence.” The afternoon is free to explore Ballycotton on your own. Tonight, dinner will be at a local restaurant in the historic port town of Kinsale, an important destination for foodies, sailors and art lovers.

Thursday, 6th April: LORGE CHOCLATIER
Leaving Ballycotton, drive to Kenmare and visit Lorge Chocolatier. While here, enjoy a chocolate workshop and learn about this beloved treat. Take a scenic drive to Killarney for a short stopover before heading to Tralee. Check into your hotel and settle into your room. This evening, dine at a local restaurant with ingredients from local artisanal suppliers.

Friday, 7th April: RING OF KERRY
Set off to explore the Ring of Kerry, which consists of over 100 miles of marvelous scenery. See some of Ireland’s highest peaks on one side of the road and a coastline scattered with golden beaches and rocky headlands on the other. There will also be plenty of stops to take in the scenery and to snap photos. Stop to visit Derrynane House, which is located at the western end of the peninsula. The Derrynane House was the ancestral home of Daniel O’Connell, one of the most important figures in Irish politics in the early 19th century. Next, explore the nutritional, horticultural, and cosmetic benefits of ocean plants in a foraging stroll on the seashore. Return to your hotel in time for dinner.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: BALLYGARRY HOUSE HOTEL, TRALEE
Saturday 8th April: St. Tola Farm
Depart Tralee and take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Next, drive along the coast of County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, which overlook the shimmering Atlantic Ocean. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince along with the Princess Bride have scenes that were filmed at this stunning landmark. Next, visit St. Tola Farm, one of the many stops on the Burren Food Trail and a producer of handmade goat cheese. St. Tola’s award-winning cheeses are sure to please even the most discerning palate. Enjoy a chance to sample the cheeses yourself before checking into your Limerick hotel. Tonight, join your group for dinner at a local pub or restaurant.
OVERNIGHT: RADISSON BLU HOTEL, LIMERICK
Sunday 9th April: RETURN TO YOUR HOMETOWN
Transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your flight. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying across the Atlantic Ocean back to the United States.
